This is our 2-step ladder with wide steps and a safety latch. This ladder was specially designed to be easier for young children to independently climb onto the trampoline with the wider steps that are safer and cooler to the touch. The safety latches (patent pending) keep the ladder more securely attached to the trampoline. It also enables the ladder to be flipped up easily for lawn mowing or to prevent unsupervised access to young kids. This ladder is easy to assemble, and your order will include the hardware, instruction manual, and tools required to assemble. This ladder comes with a lifetime parts warranty, so in the rare case that anything breaks, we are happy to replace any parts necessary to fix it at no cost to you! It is ASTM Standard Quality Build and has been tested to hold up to 220lbs. It will fit most above ground trampolines, but does not work for springfree trampolines. Ultra-Wide Steps – Our 2-step ladder design uses some of the widest steps on the market, both in width and depth. Even adult-sized feet have no trouble using the no-slip steps. The vertical distance between each step is comfortable for most, and we recommend the 2-step version for older kids, or children who need less assistance.
Original Safety-Latch Design – Made to be highly flexible and durable, the unique design keeps the ladder from accidentally falling off the frame, and simultaneously allows parents to flip the ladder up to rest on the net or mat, without fully removing the ladder. This allows for easy mowing underneath the frame, and denies access to children who are too young to jump unsupervised.
Silver Weatherproof Coating – Other ladders are coated in black which gets hot in the sun, and is uncomfortable on the hands for some children. We’ve tested different coatings and have found a 25% reduction in surface temperature (more than 10 degrees fahrenheit on average) using the silver coating over the black coating, all while not sacrificing the weatherproof quality of the ladder that some brands may not include.
Extra-Large Universal Hook – The shape of the hook makes it exceptionally easy to install over nearly any size frame tube up to 3” diameter. Your trampoline frame might be 30 years old, but this ladder will still fit. Most present-day trampolines use 1.25” tube or less. The only limitations are “Spring-Free” trampoline models (which use a different frame design) and trampoline models with a frame height exceeding 39” – 40” tall. Most frames are 36” or less from the ground.
