Diamond Wheel Precision Sharpening

The diamond wheel in the Shenzhen Ceramic Knife Sharpener is the key to consistently sharp blades from tip to handle. Chips of up to 1 mm can be removed off a ceramic blade quickly with the electric powered wheel. The knife sharpener features two settings – Fine (#800 grit) and Coarse (#600 grit) to sharpen dull and rough stainless steel and ceramic knives. For convenience, the diamond wheel cartridge in the knife sharpener and cover can be removed for easy cleaning. It can also be replaced to ensure consistent and precise sharpening over time. Typically, the diamond wheel lasts one-year depending on the type and amount of use.

The Shenzhen knife sharpener’s universal knife guide slots are designed to accommodate most V-Edge ceramic and stainless steel kitchen knives. The raised design of the guide slots allows for tip-to-handle sharpening of ceramic knives even when the blade is level to the handle. The slots keep knives in a fixed position (Coarse setting 18°, Fine setting 20°) for more consistent and precise sharpening.

Two-Stage Sharpening Process

The Shenzhen knife sharpener doesn’t just sharpen ceramic knives; it hones them to a fine edge with a simple two-stage process. For a blade that has rough edges or visible nicks, lightly guide the knife through the slots on the coarse setting to sharpen it. To then hone and polish the knife, repeat this action using the slots for the fine setting for a smooth sharp blade in seconds.
